Virdi offers NETWORKABLE Finger Print Access Control Devices that can also be used for Time & Attendance, Meal Management and other business solutions where personal identities have to be verified and authenticated. The same technologies are also used for STAND ALONE Finger Print Door Locksets for use in homes and residences.
BIOMETRIC technology is at a stage where it can now be used in our daily routines to enhance SECURITY without hampering CONVENIENCE in our daily work and home life. Of all the available biometric technology, FINGER PRINT is the most widely used at the moment because of its reliability and ease of use and it's being the most cost effective among the biometric parameters available.
The replacement of the KEY, the CARD and PASSCODE as the primary access devices is gaining ground because of the following:
• The risks of unauthorized copies being made of keys and cards and pass codes being known to unauthorized persons have been eliminated by use of the Finger Print as the access control device's basis to open locks and record identities of persons who access controlled areas.

• For networkable systems, the real-time record of identities of personnel who go in and out of controlled areas can be tracked, in cases when thefts and crimes occur.
