Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Conference for Patients and Family
The Medical City's Cancer Center offers you the option of meeting your whole cancer team in a single appointment. Patients and loved ones learn all about their cancer, how and why treatments like medical, surgical and radiation oncology are given; and the many other resources that are available to help with the journey right from the start.
Home Care Program
The Palliative Care/Home Care Program at The Medical City's Cancer Center helps patients and family members cope with suffering and distress, from cancer diagnosis all the way through treatments. Patients and loved ones are given psychosocial support to deal with their cancer and grief. Once the patient reaches a stage when he/she is no longer able to go to the hospital for consultation or he/she prefers to continue receiving care at home, then the home care team visits them in their residence. Diagnostics, physical therapy, and delivery of medicines to one's own home can be arranged.
