| Gulf Brake Fluid Super DOT 4 is a very high quality brake and clutch fluid formulated to greatly exceed the stringent requirements of the internationally accepted DOT 4 specifications. It also conforms to the DOT 5 specification in all areas except low temperature viscosity and is blended from synthetic fluids with corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. Gulf Brake Fluid Super DOT 4 may be used in a wide range of vehicles, except where a mineral oil type fluid is specified (e.g. Citroen) and is designed to meet and exceed the specifications of FMVSS 116 DOT3, DOT4, SAE J 1703, JIS K 2233, ISO 4925 and VV-B-680B. It also meets the requirements of earlier specifications: SAE 70 R1 and R3, SAE J 70C, SAE J 1703A up to SAE J 1703F and SAE J 1703 .Jan 80, Nov. 83 and Oct. 85. |

| Modern vehicle brake systems are compact, light in weight and can generate high temperatures in the brake disc or drum areas. At the same time, modern body designs often restrict the flow of cooling air and heat is conducted to the braking system cylinders. Humid and damp conditions can lead to "vapor lock" in systems due to water absorption by the fluid. This causes spongy and excessive pedal travel during service and considerably reduces braking efficiency. Gulf Brake Fluid Super DOT 4 has low moisture absorption thereby maintaining the fluid's high wet boiling point characteristics. It is fully compatible with all conventional fluid seal materials and provides excellent protection against rust, corrosion and wear. |

| Gulf Brake Fluid Super DOT 4 is suitable for use in all modern motor vehicles and motor cycles manufactured in US, Europe and Japan. it is not suitable for use in Citroen or other vehicles requiring a mineral oil based fluid. It may be used in brake, clutch and servo systems of passenger cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles and construction plant where a DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid is specified. In high ambient temperature conditions, it may also be used in applications where DOT 5 is specified but its very low temperature properties are not required. It is ideal for high performance car racing or rallying under normal or high temperature summer conditions. |
