Definition: Old rum.
Alcohol content: 37.5 Alc. /Vol.
Production: Ron Malabar is aged in American oak casks for 3 years in the Caribbean before it is shipped to W&H's installations in Spain, where it spends another year in casks that have previously been used to age the award-winning Dos Cortados palo cortado sherry.
Tasting notes: Amber-coloured with light copper hues and orange highlights. On the nose it is well-balanced and firmly structured, slightly burnt and with a hint of vanilla, cinnamon and custard. It has an intense palate with assertive notes of quality alcohol. Creamy and easy to drink, with subtle burnt flavours and medium length.
Suggestions for consumption: Ideal for mixed drinks.
